Required skills:

  • Experience working in application development environment
  • Experience in a variety of technologies, and understanding how to recommend the best option to fit within our architecture and at the same time provide the best solution
  • A mind toward delivering secure solutions that deal with highly sensitive data
  • Understanding that there are complex requirements relating to regions, countries and governments as it relates to data governance
  • Above all else, you can demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills for effective dialogue with colleagues on a project team and with customers
  • Ability to brainstorm enhancement with the customer with the objective of harvesting the already deployed Solutions. Present the benefit and how these will reduce the pain
  • You have a clear ability to set technical priorities and are comfortable making decisions on how best to deliver these
  • An ability to influence key stakeholders and get buy-in on technical decisions
  • Positive, solution-focused attitude and you aren’t afraid of a challenge
  • Collaborate effectively in a team and open to exploring all technical design options
  • Ability to build and foster the technical relationship with customers at all levels, including C-Level representatives
  • Ability to drive technical teams through task definition and assignment in conjunction with a Project Manager

Technology stack:

  • Cloud first strategy with the recognition that existing non-cloud solutions and platforms must be integrated until migrated or converted
  • IPaas (integration platform as a service). We use MuleSoft, but relevant experience with any platform will be applicable
  • CDP (customer data platforms). Experience with solutions used for client and case management. Examples Salesforce, Service Now, Dynamics 365, Sugar CRM
  • Development of custom applications/solutions that are architected as event driven based applications
  • Other development technologies used or part of our existing environment:
  • Development with VB.Net, C#.Net, .Net Core, Python
  • Front end development with Angular
  • Database platforms include MS SQL, Couchbase, PostgresSQL
  • Content systems include Django
  • Messaging/Event include RabbitMQ
  • Platform solutions include Service Now, Salesforce, Informatica, MuleSoft, Snowflake

Scope of work:

Solution Architect is the chief technical SMEs responsible for understanding business requirements and layering technical advice and direction. As part of the Enterprise Architecture team, you will define and approve end-to-end architecture design spanning across projects, SaaS/PaaS adoption, custom application development, other platform customization and implementation. The role is intended to provide continuity to the projects from a technical perspective and will be a key technical “lead” for the projects they are assigned to.

With a fundamental understanding of existing technical solutions and architecture at the firm, the Solution architect should also be forward-looking to help outline roadmaps for continued improvement to the systems and solutions at the firm. This role will work closely with our Product/Project teams to drive the product roadmap and ensure the optimum features are made available in order to reduce the cost of deployment and

improve the quality of our solutions. Fragomen’s solutions serve over 6,000 internal employees and millions of external customer users.
