About the Project
Our client is an industry pioneer, allowing individuals the freedom to purchase official state lottery tickets online via our website and mobile app. We are dedicated to creating a fun and secure way for people to play the lottery conveniently from their homes or mobile devices. We're looking for a QA Engineer who will work closely with developers to improve test coverage, guide testing efforts, investigate production issues, and perform final E2E validation across cloud-based products. Required skills:
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Industrial Engineering & Management is an advantage)
- 2-4 years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices in E2E/ functional testing
- Experience working with complex software products
- MSSQL, Elasticsearch, Cassandra or MongoDB
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) or strong openness to using them
- Highly communicative with excellent English
- Passionate learner and collaborative team player
Nice to Have
- Advantage: Node.js, .NET Core or Python
Scope of work:
- Design, write and execute complex end-to-end test scenarios
- Perform UI, integration, cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Validate sensitive business logic and critical user journeys
- Create, maintain and execute automated tests
- Support development teams in delivering high-quality features
- Investigate production issues and internal support tickets
- Continuously improve testing methodologies, tools and team processes
- Promote a quality-first culture through mentoring and collaboration
- Monitor production systems, Datadog, email, Slack and WhatsApp
- Communicate effectively across operational channels
- Manage Tarzan operational requests from intake through execution
