Our client is looking for a leading SQL Server DBA expert to work on complex and diverse DB and Data technologies. They develop an innovative video platform as a service running on AWS, providing an over-the-top TV platform for telecommunication and media companies serving millions of customers globally.

Must Have

3–5 years as MSSQL infrastructure DBA
PostgreSQL experience
Troubleshooting and resolving database issues in production
Database performance monitoring and optimization
Backup, recovery, and access control
Proactive, self-learning, highly motivated

Data integration and migration project experience
Cloud (AWS, Azure)
Performance reporting and improvement recommendations

Scope of work:

Part of production team (24x7)
Own uptime, stability, redundancy, capacity, optimization, tuning and visibility of database technologies
Design, plan and implement data topologies per business and technical requirements
Support R&D and PS on data-related topics
Research and communicate new data technology capabilities
