About the Project

Responsibility for the operation and implementation of IT infrastructure in multi-disciplinary computer networks of various scales, ranging from small networks to complex project-based environments. The work spans the entire project lifecycle—from initiation and development in labs, through test sites, to final delivery to the customer.

Required skills:

Must Have

At least three years of experience as a System Administrator in Enterprise or SME companies.
Operation and implementation of IT infrastructures, and integration of large-scale computing systems in complex environments.
In-depth knowledge of operating systems – Linux and Windows servers.
Proven experience and strong knowledge in data communication, including working with Cisco/Juniper products at a CCNA level.
Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of network services – Active Directory.
Setup, upgrade, and maintenance of VMware-based virtualization environments (working with products such as vSphere, vCenter, VRA).
Document writing skills – mandatory.
Valid driver's license – mandatory.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness and ability to work at customer and testing sites in Israel and abroad, including stays away from home for several days.
Mobility and willingness to work at both David Institute and Leshem Institute sites are required.

Nice to Have

Experience in deploying and implementing storage solutions (NetApp).
International certifications – CCNA and MCSE.
Relevant military experience in these fields will be considered as practical experience.

Scope of work:

Responsibility for the operation and implementation of IT infrastructure in multi-disciplinary computer networks of various scales.
Implementing solutions, providing support and troubleshooting IT issues in communication infrastructure, hardware, virtual environments, and integrated systems.
Ensuring the availability of project-related computing environments.
Leading monitoring processes and verifying requirement implementation.
Documentation and knowledge preservation.
