Paid Leave
Full-time employees are entitled to paid annual leave, with the duration determined by their length of service:
Employers are required to schedule annual leave between October 1 and April 30, and employees must be notified of their leave at least 45 days in advance. The employee’s salary doesn’t change during this period. Upon termination, employers are required to reimburse employees for any accrued but unused vacation days.
Sick Leave
Employees with up to five years of continuous service are entitled to up to three months (90 days) of paid sick leave per year. For those with more than five years of service, the entitlement increases to six months (180 days) per year. If the employee has dependents, these durations are doubled to six months and twelve months, respectively.
Employers pay the employee’s salary during sick leave. A medical certificate must be provided to the employer to validate the employee’s absence. If the illness or injury is work-related, the employer pays the salary for the first fifteen days, after which the workers’ insurance company assumes responsibility for compensation.
Public and Provincial Holidays
Argentina has 15 national public holidays.

The notice period for terminating an employment contract varies based on the employee’s length of service:
If an employer chooses not to provide the notice, they must compensate the employee with payment equivalent to the notice period.
13th Month Bonus
Employees are entitled to a 13th-month salary, commonly referred to as "Aguinaldo." This bonus is disbursed in two equal installments: the first by June 30 and the second by December 18. Each installment amounts to 50% of the highest monthly salary earned in the preceding six months.
