About the Project

SATEC is a 39-year-old company developing and selling energy measurement and analysis systems including meters, Power quality analyzers and fault analyzers for industrial/commercial customers.
We are looking for an experienced PCB Layout Designer to join our R&D team and lead PCB design activities for advanced energy measurement and control systems.
This role involves close collaboration with hardware engineers throughout the entire development cycle, from schematic design through mass production, reporting directly to the Hardware Group Manager.

Required skills:

3–5+ years of experience in PCB layout design.
Strong proficiency with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer.
Experience working with OrCAD Capture.
Experience designing multilayer PCBs.
Good understanding of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI).
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Experience working with PCB manufacturers and assembly vendors.
Experience with EMC/EMI standards and compliance.
Experience designing mixed-signal boards (Digital + Analog).
High attention to detail.
Systems-thinking approach.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Scope of work:

Design and edit complex printed circuit boards (PCB Layout) with 2–10+ layers using Cadence Allegro PCB Designer.
Work with schematics in OrCAD Capture and accurately implement them into PCB layouts.
Define and maintain PCB design rules according to electrical, EMC/EMI, and Signal Integrity requirements.
Route high-speed signals, analog and digital circuits, communication interfaces, and related systems.
Design boards with multiple voltage domains (low/medium voltage), including proper isolation and separation requirements.
Collaborate with the mechanical engineering team to ensure enclosure and mechanical fit.
Prepare manufacturing documentation and files, including Gerber files, Drill files, Stackup documentation, and Pick & Place files.
Support production and manufacturing processes.
Work with the Priority ERP system to build and maintain component libraries and databases.
