About the Project

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated and passionate Manual QA Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products throughout the entire development life cycle, ensuring that we release top-notch and innovative products to the market.

Required skills:

  • 2+ years of experience as a manual QA engineer in a web-based environment
  • Proficiency in UI and backend testing techniques
  • Experience in writing test documents
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
  • Experience working with issue tracking tools such as Jira
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes - An advantage!
  • Experience with automation frameworks (such as Pytest, Playwright)- An advantage!
  • Strong analytical thinking and technical capabilities
  • Fast learner and adaptation to new technologies

Scope of work:

  • Understand and participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Build and maintain detailed test plans and scenarios across various testing types.
  • Execute manual tests, ensuring full coverage of application features and identifying edge cases.
  • Identify, document, track, and manage issues through to resolution, ensuring thorough monitoring and quality control.
  • Perform root cause analysis on discovered defects and maintain clear bug reports and tracking using industry tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and product to review specifications and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to technical challenges independently.
  • Embrace a mindset of continuous learning and stay up to date on QA methodologies and tools.
