Required skills:

  • Engineering experience with Anypoint Platform API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange etc. Administration, user and application management provisioning in an enterprise deployment
  • Hands-on experience on routine admin activities e.g., Server restart, API restart, deployment in both on-prem and CloudHub deployment
  • Knowledge of load balancer configuration and maintenance for Cloud
  • Experience in CI/CD environments and deployments with GIT and Jenkins based build/release process
  • Working knowledge of Network principles (devices/containers, topology, transport, etc.), as well as basic Unix/Linux system experience
  • Experience with Splunk, logging, container logs, mgt. console logs, shell script logs
  • Message queue principles and infrastructure (esp. RMQ)
  • General security principles and admin knowledge, cert deployment, etc.

Scope of work:

The platform engineer will be hands on with the implementation, configuration, and management of services in the MuleSoft framework. These services must be optimized to meet operational performance requirements in both on-prem (hybrid) and CloudHub production and non-prod environments. This role monitors system applications, ensures systems run smoothly, and creates documentation outlining findings/solutions.

  • Install and configures systems and other software, promote through CI/CD process, and troubleshoot deployment issues. Coordinate CI/CD process with DevOps team
  • Understands dependencies and configuration deployments (e.g., trust store, certs) across environments
  • Measure effectiveness/efficiency of existing systems, make recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure adequate monitoring and alerting is in place for solution to properly monitor, analyze and alert appropriate personnel proactively when availability concerns are recognized
  • Provide quick resolution to production issues and on-call support on a rotational basis
