Our client is a 38-year-old company developing and selling energy measurement and analysis systems including meters, power quality analyzers and fault analyzers for industrial/commercial customers in more than 80 countries throughout five continents.

Required skills:

We are looking for a researcher, leader, ambitious, curious and knowledgeable, systemic and practical person who has researched and developed in electricity and high current looking for innovative challenges in an innovative and well-established company

  • Master's/PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in high current
  • At least 5 years of practical and theoretical experience working with electrical systems
  • In-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of electricity standards and high current
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge of power and power quality standards
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge of the structure of the electricity grid and digital substation including network measurement and protection components
  • Practical experience in control and protection systems in substations
  • High ability to learn and study new material from theory to implementation
  • System understanding in the field of electricity and a high current. Practical ability to translate standards into efficient product implementation

Scope of work:

  • The Chief Engineer is responsible for defining and assisting in the development of new products and systems for the world of electricity/digital substations, supporting advanced standardization and developing the algorithms for assisting in the development of measurement products.
  • The Chief Engineer will work closely with R&D and marketing presenting practical market/research solutions for electricity systems.
