In this position, you will serve as the subject matter expert for Business Continuity Management (BCM), providing strategic guidance and operational support to ensure organisational resilience. You will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business continuity plans, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will conduct risk assessments, business impact analyses, and scenario-based exercises to validate preparedness. Your expertise will be key in driving awareness, training, and response coordination across the organisation

Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Operational Resilience.
  • Professional certification preferred (e.g., CBCP, MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor).
  • Strong knowledge of business continuity frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Experience in conducting BIA, risk assessments, and resilience planning.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Scope of work:

  • Develop, and assist with implementation, and maintenance of bolttech’s BCM framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST, FFIEC, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance on risk identification, impact analysis, and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the execution and periodic updates of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments.
  • Work with business owners to identify critical business functions, dependencies, and potential points of failure.
  • Develop and conduct BCM training programs for employees at all levels and ensure awareness and engagement from leadership and key business units.
  • Maintain BCM documentation and resources to support ongoing training initiatives.
  • Design and lead Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) testing exercises, including tabletop exercises, simulations, and full-scale recovery tests.
  • Evaluate test results, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional response teams during crisis management drills.
  • Provide BCM expertise and lead war-rooms in the event of disruptions or crisis situations.
  • Support incident response teams in ensuring continuity of critical business operations.
  • Maintain and improve crisis communication plans and escalation procedures.
