About the Project
Join this team and be a part of developing the Firms mobile strategy, through research and evaluation of new technologies. The Mobility Platform Engineer is a member of the Interface team under the Firm’s Infrastructure area. The objective of the Mobility team is to streamline the Firm’s mobility posture through simplification, standardization and automation.

Required skills:
- A Bachelor degree with a Computer Science major or a substantial equivalent experience.
- Four years of professional experience supporting and deploying Smart Devices (iOS, Android, etc.) in a professional multi-national organization
- Advance troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; as an engineer at the top of the support line, the candidate needs the skills to identify the issue and root cause, providing a resolution by working with technical teams and vendors
- Fundamental understanding of the Microsoft Technology Stack, especially the client and infrastructure layers.
- Familiarity with various MDM technologies and\or methodologies would be advantageous.
- Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certifications: Certification within Microsoft platforms for mobile management and other MDM solutions will be advantageous
- Attention to detail: drafting requirements and writing test plans in particular require meticulous attention to detail with strong organization skills
- Excellent communication skills: the ability to listen and communicate at all levels. The candidate must have proven experience in service provision. Not only must the candidate be able to liaise with staff at all levels but act as an intermediary between legal staff and the technical team.
- Team player: Ability to display a high level of teamwork.
- Initiative: Be able to work within set parameters but always looking at ways to improve the process. Able to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Committed: To delivering good solution with a sense of timely delivery. Able to work in multiple fast paced and simultaneous environments, with minimum supervision.
- Overtime: Willing to work overtime as necessary, including different shifts. On-call shift duty is mandatory.
- Travel maybe required.
Scope of work:
- Develop and maintain, the Firm's current and future enterprise mobile computing technology and infrastructure
- Act as the escalation point for issues arising out of projects and BAU operations, ensuring the timely resolution of issues and appropriate communication with impacted parties.
- Work with other IT, security and business areas to understand current mobility requirements and implement solutions that meet their needs.
- Work with various device OEMs, software vendors to understand their strategies in providing enterprise mobility solutions.
- Assist with developing and communicating new mobility services offerings and device standards.
- Represent Mobility team on various IT projects and business initiatives.
- Participate in team discussions, representing the collective view and striving to build consensus on proposed priorities, processes, standards and procedures.
- Research, design, test and document standards for Mobile hardware, software, operating systems, and applications in relation to the Mobility platforms.
- Test and apply security patches and communicate results.
- Maintain knowledge repository and update incident management system.
- Provide training to local offices on how to use, apply and maintain the standards.
