Required skills:
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Proven experience in a cloud production environment and with cloud-native stacks. It is crucial that the candidate has extensive experience working in past production environments, demonstrating a strong ability to handle high-stakes and high-availability scenarios.
- Experience in high-scale, distributed systems within a micro-services environment.
- Real-world experience with the Kubernetes ecosystem (deployments, maintenance, improvements).
- Familiarity with GitOps methodologies, using tools like Helm and ArgoCD.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, preferably with CloudFormation.
- Coding skills, preferably in Python, Bash, Groovy, or Go
- Strong background in Linux administration.
It is important that the candidate has a background in either system/IT or development, showcasing a broad understanding of technical architectures and the ability to bridge between operations and development effectively.

Scope of work:
- Manage, operate, enhance, and maintain our high-traffic cloud platform, handling millions of requests per day and over 50,000 transactions per second
- Maintain and improve our Development, Staging, and Production of Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, demonstrating in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes ecosystems
- Introduce and implement state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies, focusing on automation and the acceleration of manual processes
- Actively participate in product and infrastructure architecture discussions with our Research and Development (R&D) team
- Be an integral part of a DevOps team that is involved in developing our product and infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with R&D for the release and support of new product features
- Create self-serve tools for use by technical teams within the organization
- Advocate for and contribute to DevOps philosophies and the open-source community
