About the Project

Our client is a leading AI-driven company with over 15 years of experience leveraging data and advanced algorithms to deliver mission-critical intelligence to global organizations.

As a Data Scientist, you will join an R&D research team focused on building innovative solutions in a complex, data-rich domain, contributing to the development of cutting-edge AI technologies.

In this role, you will utilize Python to design and implement algorithms and models that are central to the company’s core products and business impact.

Required skills:

Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics) or higher
Experience utilizing GenAI tools for research and coding (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor,Ollama, etc.
3+ years of experience building ML models and writing production-ready Python code in enterprise or research environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with geospatial data or time-series analysis - significant advantage

Scope of work:

Research and deploy ML models to understand, classify, and predict vessel behaviors and characteristics
Proficiently utilize GenAI models in production pipelines and as productivity tools
Own the end-to-end implementation of models, writing production-ready Python codewithin our data pipelines
Work with a team of domain and technical experts to solve complex challenges
